We accept JPG, TIF, PNG, HEIC / HEIF and PDF files, including photos right from your phone. While TIF files are the very best, we work with all of these formats.

We accept digitized files of your photos through the Upload form on our website.  For each photo, tell us what you’d like done. Please do not mail us original photos or documents.

Yes. Here are some tips:

  • Lighting: Find natural, soft light without any glare or shadows
  • Set Up: Place your photo or doc on a dark surface, as flat as possible
  • Settings: Adjust your iPhone to the highest resolution possible
  • Take Your Photo: Hold your iPhone parallel to the photo, directly above it, and make sure the photo is in focus
  • Take Multiple shots: If you’re unsure of the best shot to send, upload several and leave it to us

Yes. Many retailers can digitize your photos including Staples, UPS, FedEx Office, Costco, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. Have them follow the 300-dpi rule of thumb, 600-dpi for photos smaller than 4”x6”. Many of these retailers offer marginal photo repair services, but for the highest quality that captures the uniqueness of your photo, it’s best to work with an expert.

Yes. Here are some tips for your scanner setting:

  • Resolution: Scan at a minimum resolution of 300 dpi, preferably 600 dpi especially if your photo is smaller than 4×6
  • Document Type: Photograph
  • Color: Scan all pics & docs in color (RGB) even black and white photos for greater detail retention.
  • Bit Depth: 16-bit per channel. Sometimes this is called 48-bit total because there are 3 channels, one for each primary color – Red, Green Blue – 3 x 16 = 48
  • Settings: Turn off any photo enhancement features your scanner may have
  • File Format: Save as a TIFF file (preferable for minimal detail loss) or as a JPG

Once you approve the final proof, we’ll send you payment instructions. When we receive your payment, we’ll send your restored pics and docs.

  • $10/photo for most restorations
  • $20/photo for most color fixes including colorizing black and white photos
  • $10/photo for most document repairs

We generally try to complete our work in 5-7 business days, depending on our workload.

Yes. Auto corrections with AI tools can add features not in your original photo and make adjustments that may appear generic or fake. We can help.
